2 things to say to the Doc:

1. Up the verapamil dosage.

2. Write a letter of need to the insurance company.

My CH are starting to ramp up again. One last night and again tonight both at 6 pm. THis after just shadowing alot here lately. Out of imitrex and just used the last of the O2. I know how you feel. When I felt it come on I started freaking out and running up and down the stairs to keep it at bay. Try it out!  :)  Hope we all feel better soon!

Did you dose with Imitrex every time with an attack?

Imitrex can be hard on the heart.  Only two doses in a 24 hour period!  Sorry if you already knew that just want to watch out for a fellow CHer.

I hope that you get relief soon and you really might need to up the Verap....K...  Don't give up on it.  Many on here are on much higher doses.  Do need to monitor the BP though........ Not a Doc. just talking from the information on here and as a Nurse.....Any BP med moves in building blocks slowly for monitoring BP and effectiveness with TX.

PF wishes................Kim
