Title: nasal polyps anyone? Post by JJ on Jun 18th, 2005, 8:21pm The Dr. looked up my schnozz and said I had a polyp in my left nostril. I've heard this for a few years, and at the time the docs put me on Flonaise (later Nasocort) to try to shrink it. I've not been the best patient... ok, so I rarely used it cause I wasn't fond of the taste when it drained. Now I'm wondering... polyp in left nostril... left nostril blocks when I'm having a headache... coincidence? Just wondered if anyone had nasal polyps removed and if it made any difference to the CH's. |

Title: Re: nasal polyps anyone? Post by Major on Jun 18th, 2005, 8:36pm Hi - my husband had a nasal polyp removed in his mid-twenties, CH didn't start until late thirties, so there was no connection for him. Funny thing now that I think about it is that he has been complaining that he has been feeling like the polyp has returned - I'll ask him if it is on the same side as the ha's. |

LOL E-dude! First thing that went through my mind when I saw the title was, "No Thanks!" JJ, many people here have had various naso-sinus surgeries and all they did was make the doctors' BMW payments. Too bad there's not a money back guarantee, huh? I'm not saying don't go have it cut out if it bugs you, but I don't think doing it will affect the ch. But then, what do I know. I'm not a doctor with a BMW payment to make. |
