[smiley=huh.gif] Snook here long time hope everyone is hanging in there?!!!!!! Hey Nani hows our girl? I hope your well, Gater, JOHNNY ETC..... Anyway Buzz was put on Valproic Acid 250mgs1 for 7 days now he takes 2 daily, its been 2 months NOOOOOO CLUSTERS, but it is effecting his temperment not bad toward me but he gets really frustrated, lacks in patience. Hes also been put on temazepam 15mgs 1 for sleep. Its sucking his memory, which by the way he has a GREAT MEMORY!!!!!! Alright Ive looked up these drugs, but Im really into YOUR FEEDBACK MY FRIENDS SOOOOOOOOOOOO IF any of you guys have been on 1 or both of these meds I would really dig hearing from ya. Thanks ever so much,, much love and PF DAYS TOO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SNOOK( buzzes tomato)IM REALLY INTERESTED IN THE 1ST MED I MENTIONED, IF ANY OF YOU GUYS HAD SAME SIDE EFFECTS!!!!!!! THATS THE THE ONE I THINK IS REALLY FFFFF UP HIS MEMORY!!!!!!! THANKS AGAIN

I'm sure glad Buzz is still PF...that's always a good thing. I'm afraid I can't help with info on those meds, I am not familiar with them. I'm sure if someone is, they'll be along to help.

Depakote did nothing for the CH and left me kinda stoned and "blank"..not nearly as bad as Topamax but I felt goofy....and not in a fun way.

If it is helping the headache then awesome but just develop strategies for "memory"

If you'd like specifics I'd be glad to talk!

Be careful with the Valporic Acid. You need to have his blood checked for toxic effects.

I didn't like the stuff and got off it when I found out what it could do to you. About the same as lithium (and some swear by that one -- I didn't stay on it either).

Don't know about the other one.

Snook!!! Nice to hear from you again. Glad to hear something has the ch under control. I hope you've been remembering to take care of yourself as well. I haven't tried the Depakene (Valproic Acid), but I did try the Depakote (Divalproex Sodium) up to 1500mg and got nothing - no effect or side effect. Temazapam didn't make me sleep either. As far as memory problems, I was already majorly screwed up by the time the neuro got around to the depakote, so I don't know if it affected my memory or not. I'm sure it didn't help matters any.
