Here in Finland there's a product called Kudzu Strong which was created to help those who are battling against both drinking problem and smoking.

The brand I take is formulated for alcohol recovery. I never was a big drinker, so I can't say it affects me. I am still smoking like a train, but the key to not smoking is "wanting" to stop. I don't wanna stop.  [smiley=smokin.gif]

That's the key in stopping all addictions, the want. You got to really want to do it.

Same place the shroom study is being done.  Wonder is Sewell or Halpern could connect the Kudzu Gurus with the kudzu study folk.  May help answer some questions re drug interactions, method of action, appropriate dose, etc.  Maybe the OUCH BoD would sanction the kudzuers and they could contact the studiers under the OUCH name.

Makes ya think. Ch'ers are notorious for their addictive personalities. Two things that are being studied to curb addiction also help CH.

Hmmm.

If someone wants to quit smoking, email me. I made my father quit... And he did. Permanately. ;)

Since I kicked my sugar addiction, I have only one left... hanging at this site! [smiley=laugh.gif]

Title: Beta, Kudzu and drinking
Post by Mr. Happy on May 19th, 2005, 2:30am
Did a little Beta Testing with Kudzu and beer, since CH isn't a factor right now.

Made sure I ate neutral foods, since I'm lactose intolerant to the max. Took 3 Nature's Way Kudzu tabs. Opened beer(s).

The gas thing kicked into high gear, now that attention was the order of the day. No farting or belching, just a gut bloating up to the size of a Beach Ball. It's not so much that I didn't want a beer; I couldn't drink one........I was already Gassed to the Max. Bet Pepsi freaks would have the same problem. Maybe.
Is it carbonation, is it lessened desire, or is it Memorex?

Next.......

A side-effect if you will, of CH is also depression.

Several drugs for depression also help CH.

    hmmm.    Linda
