When we saw the Nuero he had metioned O2 but said he didnt want to give it cuz Mark was a smoker But they had given Mark a pain pill that was making him sick to his stomach so he asked for something else and that wasnt working, Sunday and Mondays seem to be the worst days But yesterday was very bad so i called the Dr and begged for O2 and about 3 hrs later (after the headache) we got it . We havent tried it yet but am REALLY HOPING it works . He is still taking the topamax but that has to get in his system for while before it will even begin to work right ? He is still on 25 mg and will be raising the dose every week until he gts to 100mg twice a day .

Did he get a NON-rebreather mask with the set up???

and how high is the airflow??? Does it go atleaast to 12?

We recieved with the tanks a nose piece he is supposed to to use the o2 on 6 but i think it does have 12. Is 12 better ?

The nose thingy (called a cannula) *sucks* and will dry out your sinuses at the 10-15 liter-per-minute rate that is usually necessary to be an effective HA abortive. Get a mask as soon as possible---
