Title: Sense of balance.....lack of Post by Marta on May 1st, 2005, 7:53pm Hi, I'm wondering if anyone else has a really bad sense of balance during CH? During the last week or so I've noticed that I've had to take major care of myself when walking, in a straight line has been interesting (hey, no alcohol required) and not walking into people. Could it be the trex shots? Any ideas? Cheers Marta |

Title: Re: Sense of balance.....lack of Post by Joanie on May 1st, 2005, 10:30pm Hi Marta, Definitely check the meds you're taking. Don't know if you're taking it or not, but when I was taking Lithium for the CH they messed up my legs pretty bad. When I wasn't rolling around with the CH pain, I was falling down from the Lithium. Hope this helps...Good luck! Joanie |

Title: Re: Sense of balance.....lack of Post by Gator on May 2nd, 2005, 10:48am I don't have balance problems as much as I just can't really see where I am going while dancing with my hand pressing in on one eye and the other one filled with tears from crying due to the pain. I tend to walk into door facings once in a while as I pace through the house. If it's bad, maybe you should check your meds and call your doc. |

Title: Re: Sense of balance.....lack of Post by Margi on May 2nd, 2005, 11:05am Marta, that's not a usual symptom - you really should get it checked. It could very well be due to meds. Or, it could be the normal congestion that a clusterhead gets - your ears can also get congested and that can definitely cause a balance problem, if your inner ear is full. |

Title: Re: Sense of balance.....lack of Post by Karla on May 2nd, 2005, 11:56am It sounds like vertigo, which can be an inner ear infection. The very first time I got hit with ch It started with a week of vertigo. Crawling on my knees everywhere. I doubt if they are related but you should have your dr check you out. |
