Title: Eye ball pain...
Post by Kim Y. on Apr 27th, 2005, 12:10am
Hello all just been lurking the last few days reading and laughing.  Posted a few times otherwise just quiet.
Well the last two days have been interesting.  Between the pain in my temple and feeling like my eyeball is going to pop out of my head any minute.  It feels like my eye is swelling and the pressure is building.  The movement to the Left of my left eyeball is so dog gone painful.
You know when the pain is at the back of my head and temple I instantly apply pressure thinking subconsciously that it will help.  But the eye thing there is nothing I can do even the slightest touch to my eye makes me want to cry, kick and screem "Just stop Please, Just stop."
I thought I had a few more days before it was to get worse again but nop, noda, not happen.
This go round is lasting so much longer then the time before.  I am going on 5 mo. with no end in sight and the last on was only 4 mo.  Of course there was only a three and a half mo. break between episodes.  Is there going to be an end in sight?
Oh I know each is different I just can't seem to find a pattern anymore to these things I thought I had it all figured out and now no more routein.
Just venting and spilling out my thoughts I appreciate all your reading eyes.  Hope I didn't bore any of you. :-[ Thanks for being such wonderful supporters.

PF wishes....Kim

Kim,

Perhaps you've been sleep walking and your neighbor, well...

Hi Kim,

Sorry to dump you with IM yesterday.  If I had known how crap you were feeling I would have let you be.  My CH popped round for a visit and play this morning.

I am loathe to say it, but I think they have a time scale that only they know and we are just the backing vocalists (but boy, are we loud!).

I wish you all my best thoughts and prayers

Marta

The beast has ruined my sleep been up since six.  Sucking on O2 and wishing for relief.

The pressure woke me up this morning and wouldn't let up.  Got up so I wouldn't wake the husband and snuck into the other room to let him sleep. :-/

This hurts so damn much... :'(

Kim,

When I wake up with a shadow (or worse), I have to get up immediately or it will hit a 10 really quick. Try NOT laying there when you get a warning signal.

Once you get up try downing several cups of coffee and sucking O2. This sometimes aborts mine before they take hold. (Sometimes NOT).

Find something to "focus" on -- like coming to the MB or turning on the TV or anything to get your mind off the pain. This doesn't help a lot, but it gives you something to do.

Just remember -- it will pass and you'll be better soon.

Hugs BD

Do this all the time.  Most of the time I do get up but I was so flustard that it was so early I was hopeful.  I'll remember that from now on.

Thanks.....Kim

Hi Kim,

How're you today?  Did you have any PF time at all?  Without the shots I'd be a nervous wreck.  In fact, I can feel an indiscreet clicking of the neck right now.  Yow, it's shot time  now I feel!

Take care and all the best

Marta

Yesturday it backed off some not PF but lightened up till bedtime and then increased so I sucked on the only O2 I have at this time which didn't help much.  Was started on Trazadone which finally took over and knocked me out and got some sleep.  But boy this morning woke with the most incredible pain packed with eyedroop, sinus stuffed.  ::)  Couple cups of coffee and it is backing down some.

Marta
Know what you mean all to well about the clicking in the neck.  How are you doing? [smiley=hug.gif]
The shots are a life saver but I hate how they make me feel so I avoid them as long as I can.  Hope you are ok.
