Congratulations on finding a doc who listens and appears to be willing to learn.

Slowly but surely we're getting there.

The roof of my mouth seems to do the same thing.  I have found that it is a hydration thing.  If I have been drinking plenty of fluids, it is ok, but if I have not been drinking plenty of fluids, it is swollen and painful.

Both during a HA and between I've felt as if someone hooked a couple fingers inside my mouth and is lifting me up by them--the pressure on the palate is that intense!
