After spending 10 days in the hospital, the headaches continued so I headed for Chicago where I was hospitalized for another 21 days. My headaches were coming like clockwork. I was having 3 per day and 1 every night.

Now after all that ... I'm still having 1 cluster every night at around 9pm.

I wish this would end. I wish I were episodic again. :(

Did they give you more histamine or try something else?

They gave me a little of everything, including: 45 bags of Histamine total, 2 shots of Solu Medrol, 6 mg of DHE IV push, Droperidol & Benedryl, and a whole list of new preventative medications

I really only got a break after the DHE and after the Solu Medrol shots...temporarly.

Something has reduced the number of attacks I am having daily.

Still waiting on the day my headaches stop.

Look carefully at possible meds interactions, but dude, I really think it's worth a shot....IMHO
