I agree...I think I would rather have the attack and get the thing over with...until the next one. The shadows just seem to never end. You ever played "What would you rather?" Taking two opposit choices, each of equal undesirability, and forcing a choice between the two. Like, would you rather eat a gallon of mayonaise or a gallon of mustard? Just call me shadow girl... I have a constant shadow these days, even when there is no sunlight... I feel like a vampire. I just never know when the shadow will become real, and I have to use my precious Zomig, a constant source of anxiety. But looks like here it comes finally. Try to deny, but it just don't work... force of will means nothing for this damn head. :-( I've been posting lots, trying for distraction. The distraction is good, but it doesn't stop the onslaught. And yeah, TV sucks tonight. gotta go get the heating pad on my head. thanks for listening! D |

I was starting to think I was overreacting. sigh. at least it was almost 24 hrs since the last hit. so much for the miracle drug (zomig spray), didn't work for over an hour, and perhaps it just didn't work at all. Maybe I waited too long. Guess it's time to start the imitrex injections... at least the insurance will pay since it's a new script. And yes, I will ask the doc about O2 tomorrow. You all give it good reviews for a reason. I'm a little slow sometimes. I can now say definitively, shadows all day long, no ch, thank you Debbie |

I guess I'd live with severl hours of them then take a hit. I still panic when the hit starts to buil (5 min most of the time) My hits are kip7-10 most of the time and I get one every night somtimes more. Hell it's 3:00 in the morning now and the only reason I responding to this is because I'm recovering from the nightly hit that wake me up. a few more hours and I can go back to bed. This is getting so old... :'( |

Yeh I know I can function, but not that well, Have a 2 year old having tantrums most of the day, Oh please god let the lithium kick in soon! ::) P.S is their any folk out there would like 45 year old Irish man I think I may have one going free quite soon. Since you can't get a true idea of the flavor when it is mixed with something, we eat mayo from a spoon. Tasty, huh? And no, I'm not paid enough! ;) |

Nothing severe, about a k2 or k3 at most....but I couldnt believe the crap wasn't going away. Sometimes when I have a shadow, i can "MASH IT OUT".....meaning, I can literally put my index finger and my thumb on the inner top corner of my eye, right in-between my eye and nose, and i've been able to rub in that area with a little pressure for a few minutes, and the shadow would go away.... sometimes I can "mash it out" by applying pressure with a closed fist and rubbing the bottom right side of my jaw... |
