I'm headed back to the Diamond Headache Clinic (http://www.diamondheadache.com/index.html)to meet with Dr. Diamond. Since meeting her in October, I've learned some very good tricks for kicking the beasts' ass ! That Histamine Drip (http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0BJI/is_9_30/ai_63125273) is awesome !! It's the best thing i've found for preventing clusters so far !!

If you had a chance to ask Dr. Diamond a question about CH, what would it be ?

Can she provide you with any material to bring back here regarding the histamine treatment so we can all get a better understanding of it?

While on the topic of the Diamond Clinic - I'm just wondering what kind of experiences people have had there. When my GP diagnosed me last month (and gave me fiorinal & imitrex injections - on top of my inderal), she said we'd see how things go, then she'd refer me to Diamond. I'm in the Western suburbs of Chicago, so it makes sense to send me there, but I'm wondering what others have thought...

Went to Diamond a couple years ago. So-so relief lasted two weeks then back to every damn day. Two weeks hanging around a crappy Chicago hospital with DHE dripping into my arm was almost as bad as the CH. Trying Zonegran now but already side effecting like a MF. Always had a extremely bad temper, violent etc. Have gotten better with age (45) and experience but now I'm back to about how I was at 21. Not good, not good at all. Feel like ripping somebody a new one right now.
