Title: Re: the 26th~~~ Post by Cerberus on Dec 26th, 2005, 11:43pm LOL Ree! I advise however, "tradition" dictates that once a tree is up and decorated it is considered "bad luck" to take it down until after the new year... never knew why aside from the obvious. [smiley=huh.gif] Course I never did unnerstand the whole wedding cake under the pillow thing either... anyone?! [smiley=huh.gif] 'Bus |

Title: Re: the 26th~~~ Post by chewy on Dec 27th, 2005, 12:10am 25th: 1 year old thinks a glass of sweet cider would be funny in uncles lap. Bore uncle to death with a corny movie, make him fall asleep. 2 nieces, 1 nephew, beat him to death with pillows. Uncle jumps up, scares cat, cat jumps in tree. Uncle flees for his life, gets stopped for speeding. 26th: Recouperate, plan for next year. expedia.com Trip to Bahamas (Leave on 12/21, return on 12/26) |

Amen to that Bob!!!! Christmas Day with 3 of them and Boxing Day with 5 of them! Yikes, my hair has turned another shade of gray!!!!! Ramon - about that Christmas tree takedown - I was always told that if you don't have the tree down before midnight on New Year's Eve, then it must stay up until January 6th (Little Christmas) or you'll have bad luck for the whole year! My tree is on its way out the door today!!!! Ree - love the song - it expresses my feeings perfectly. Hope you all have a nice relaxing day today. Carol |

...and if you keep it up till February your chances of bad luck for the whole next year continues to increase with each dry needle that falls and how close a candle might be to the withering tree.... :-X scott |
