Hello Everyone, I am doing ok. Still fighting the beast.

Last test OB and then waiting for the results of all three exams I feel fairly ok about them thus far and feel i know a fair amount of the information and only wait to see what the tests say.

Well hope you all are doing ok and I just wanted to Thank you all so very much for your support through my finals and the beast your all wonderful and I appreciate it...

I have done it I have passed all of my tests I got a 90% in Mental Health, 85% in Obstetrics, and and 88% in Medical Surgical.

My over all passing grade was a 87% so guess what I am going on into the next semester *snickering*

Thanks for the support everyone now it is time for the much needed break and to see if this head will give me a break because it is driving me in sane.....

Take your first score and live it.

Use techniques that you have learned to help other with yourself and it will be an easier ride.

I do it with my own tricks of the trade.

Congrats ! Hey I have a question for medical student types......maybe you can help ? A guy at Brad's shops wife got into nurseing and they were told she'd be makeing BIG BUCKS (65 to 70 grand) as soon as she got thru schooling and placed. So.....they bought a big house they can't afford based on all that. (duh).....heck they have 4 kids at home and ones a toddler. The husband took alot of the classes with her to help her pass and do her homework and essay's and reports for her. (that part is STRANGE...guess she had a hard time remembering it all) Anyways......she just had her last tests or whatever and FLUNKED by three points I think it was. Think she has been in this a year or two for the entire course. She got a 76 or 77 or sumthing.....whtever the score would be that would pass she is 3 or 4 under. All is rideing on her passing this and she isn't a real people person anyhow so we have found this entire situation kind of wierd.....so the husband was "pissed" and said he was goin to call WHOMEVER graded the tests and talk them into PASSING her cuz she needs to do this and pass. He said it was not fair the flunked her by a few points ?? Now me and Brad think ya either sink or swim in this profession.....they don't do favors or feel sorry for ya and PASS ya jus cuz ya asked or need it......DO THEY ? We jus tryin to weed out the bullshit this guy is tellin Brad at work. (it's partially Brad's shop and he thinks the guy is full of shit and there both DREAMING and on the wrong track and gonna end up in financial trouble cuz of baseing everything on her becomeing some big rocket scientist) Am sure they TELL ya that shit when you sign up to get people interested and if ya do SUPER good maybe ya can make big bucks. Guess it was her finals she flunked. So will she have to start over ? Will she have to go thru the regular training she started with......a year or two schooling and pay for it again ?They expected her to be makein big bucks by now and it's not happening. (we didn't think it would esp if he had to take the courses to help her pass homework ??) Truth or bullshit Pam

Thanks.....it's regular nurseing she is tryin for I believe......no 'special' area that I know but not positive how it all works.....maybe once ya pass you can pick your area of interest and go further ?But all nurseing areas are 'special' to become one in my book !
