Title: I'm Impressed... Post by Redd715 on Dec 10th, 2005, 11:09pm I just saw the movie "Phantom of the Opera" I adored it...glued to the screen. Best score of any movie I've heard since LOTR. Voices were pitch perfect, some of the stanzas had chills running threw my veins. Beautiful. I'll have to start a DVD collection of my own and this one is at the top of the list. If you haven't seen it yet...and you appreciate this sort of thing please rent the DVD. It's terrific. Pegg |

Title: Re: I'm Impressed... Post by Lizzie2 on Dec 10th, 2005, 11:39pm I have the soundtrack from the movie! I loved it! Personally, I thought that Michael Crawford (the original Phantom) has a better voice than the person who played him in the movie, but I can't complain...that movie was phenomenal!!! I watched it two days in a row back in July when I first saw it! :) I always play and sing music from Phantom...been doing that since I was in elementary school and one of my piano teachers introduced me to playing broadway music! Anyhow...great movie! Lizzie :) |

Title: Re: I'm Impressed... Post by Rock_Lobster on Dec 11th, 2005, 1:16am My wife and daughter will wear that DVD out some day. They watch it at least once a week, and if that is not on then the CD is. |

Title: Re: I'm Impressed... Post by BobG on Dec 11th, 2005, 12:12pm A few years ago we went up to Salt Lake city to see the Phantom on stage. It was in one of those magnificent old opera houses with the balconies, and the orchestra pit below the stage. The play, with all the special affects, was amazing. But, before we went, I Googled and printed out the script. Otherwise I would have had no idea what it was all about. |
