Title: Hey Clark...you were off 4 minutes..
Post by Jackie on Nov 24th, 2005, 10:39am
Talked to Clark and Cat this morning.

Clark told me what time it was going to start the big snow here in northern Indiana.  He only missed it by 4 minutes......damn I'm impressed.  We should have such good meteorologist around here....

Cat.....sure glad you decided to delay the Canada trip.  This weather is brutal today.  I am disappointed that I won't get to see you though.... :(

Meteorologists here in the northeast tell the weather by using a dart board ;;D

Here in Wisconsin, we dodged the bullet on this one, but alas, not the cold...right now the windchill is -6 degrees F. >:(

I too am disappointed I won't get to see you Jacks.  But I am sooooo relieved at not having to try and drive a mini van with an empty UHaul trailer through what seems to be a nightmare weather set up through Northern Indiania and all of Michigan.

I'll be sure to arrange for a stop off at your place when I do make the trip in the future though :)

Love ya!

Cat

p.s. Clark asks if he was 4 min. late or 4 min. early LOL
Damn he drives me crazy when he is always right!

Just to add...there is vertually no snow right now even after the strom last week.   All melted Yesterday...but then the sun came up and we had gale force winds and sub zero windchills.

Just the difference a day makes... :-/

ROFL  Clark told me to mention that his timing is done according to Zulu time, so of course all of our clocks, unless set to the 00Z for synchronization are off!

Damn weathermen....sheesh!

I hope you had a terrific time with your family and turkey dinner :)

I was really lookin forward to trying to talk you into some of your INCREDIBLE cobbler too LOL  :D

Reminiscent of Hurricane Rita......Clark pin pointed my location to a "T".    186,000 acre lake in Louisiana....he found the cove....and the canal that led to my house.   Described the location and identified my property by the rooftops of the buildings on my land.   He knew everything but the depth of the water.

Cat and Clark stayed in constant contact with me for hours.   Clark would relay the wind speeds and the predictions....he knew when it was calm...when the eye crossed over....and knew when the wind speeds would resume....after the eye crossed.   He knew when the hurricane took that westernly turn......which was about 45 miles due south of my location.   For sure Cat and Clark were my "calm in the midst of a storm".

As bad as that hurricane was....they made a really bad situation alot calmer for me.   Bless their hearts....they lost as much sleep as I did....not sure how many hours we spent on the phone.   Just goes to show....the love of one Ch'er to another.    There is no end to the love and caring...and genuine loyalty.

Thank you Cat and Clark...for all that you do...and for your love and concern for others.

Jean

They invented the term "meteorolgist" because "Liar" didn't inspire much confidence!!!

Mike and not too trusting when it comes to Weatherliars!

Rained for two days so far and melted something like 15 inches of snow. Bleaugh. Sloppy.

I get two papers and watch half a dozen weather reports. They rarely agree when it comes to my little town.
