Title: A couple of Prayers wouldn't hurt right now.... Post by BarbaraD on Nov 23rd, 2005, 10:18pm Got a phone call tonight from Bill's sister and Bill's mother had another stroke this morning. She's 93 and is in the hospital. It can go either way, but sister-in-law said it didn't look real good. All the kids and grandkids (and great and great-great) will be home tomorrow for Thanksgiving and we're all expecting it to be a really quiet day. Grandmaw is usually the center of attention. This is the first year since I've been in the family I can ever remember her not being around for lunch. But right now she's just sleeping most of the time. I think we all have the same feeling - we're going up there to say goodbye to her. Anyhow, if you have a few extra prayers laying around, send one up for Inez. I know she'd appreciate it. Hugs BD |

I am sorry for your family's pain. It's a "good thing" for Inez that she's not suffering, and hopefully she will come back and join the family again. I pray she does. These old timers always have a little something more to give to those who love them, be it a funny memory or a bit of wisdom to share. And we always have a lot more love in the tank to shower them with, cherishing the fact that they are still here. I know that this is a hard time of the year for you.....too many "first's". Thinking about you and yours...with prayers. |
