Title: A Dark Holiday

Today is the 17th anniversary of both my Uncle Bill being laid to rest, and my Father dying suddenly and unexpectedly at the same time. It has really affected me pretty hard this year and not sure why. It could be the fact my health has declined the past few months, or as a friend stated, since I am getting older it could be I am reflecting more.

I had some tests done last week and expected a phone call from my doc yesterday. Finally I called to find out what was going on and they told me "We just moved this weekend and still haven't unfinished packing so we're not sure if the results have come back yet or not." That really made me frustrated since I have some things going on I'll not go into detail about, and might wind up back in the ER before Thursday.

I'll stop here and just say it has been a tumultous 2 weeks and I'd appreciate any vibes and prayers. They're needed.

The older we get the more we think about how much older we may or may not get.

Does tumultous mean tumor ? Keeping BUSY is the best cure in some cases when stuff starts to get you down and you start to feel like yer fallin apart and thinking too much about things that get you down. Idle time is the devils workshop Pam

It's a new day Carl and I hope things are looking better.

Other than the holiday, I'm not a November fan. October with it's foliage doesn't need to be followed by soggy November. Christmas needs to be closer to Halloween, if you ask me.....

In the end, that's something only you can decide, but you never know what good you do in the lives of others with just a kind word or a smile. I know you've given that to many people. Maybe that makes it worth it. [smiley=hug.gif]

Hopefully the results come back soon. In the mean time, you are in my thoughts. I know you don't have a phone, get the skype program and a headset then give me a shout so we can talk.
