This is weird. At the end of this message, your asked a question.
Answer it immediately. Don't think about it. Just say the first thing that pops into your mind.

This is a fun "test." AND kind of spooky at the same time! Give it a try, then e-mail it around (including back to me) and you'll see how many people you know fall into the same percentage as you. I saw green, as in John Deere.

Why would anyone see a red hammer? I have many hammers, at least a dozen different types, all for different purposes and not one of them is red.

most people answer with a primary color, of which there are only 3 (red blue and yellow) (you could include black and white which are actually all colors or lack of any)

most people also answer with the most easily recognizable tool... the hammer being #1 also popular are screwdriver, drill , and wrench (of varying types and not particularly in that order)

The calculations only serve as a distraction to the question. In fact many people arrive to the "standard answer" before they even get asked the question. Which is the part that really throws me.
I hope I didn't ruin it for you by taking the "mystery" out of it.
