I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by killinga gecko!

Lots of crazy stuff here I won't go into, but lets just say I had much fun at the Medieval Center wednesday when they had to do a CT scan of abdomen and pelvis with the dye contrast. First they gave me 3 glasses of this super nasty punch that I gagged down. The lady asked "Was the punch too bad?" Being my usual sarcastic/ nervous self I said "Oh no not at all. In fact I hear in Guyana it is a bit o a delicacy, you kow - Jim Jones Kool-Aid." The real fun part was when they went to insert the tube in my arm and couldn't find a vein. The guy dug around what seemed like forever trying to hit a vein and on the third attempt he said "Sorry" and I gritted my teeth and responded "Oh no, take your time." The fifth time he went for it I pointed to a small dot on my right arm where I had blood taken recently and said "See here? This is a road map to the stars. X marks the spot" and he finally got it. Anyway, just had to share that fun episode. ::)

I won't be able to do the funnies tomorrow due to tech probs at home (unable to do jack diddly at home). I have got some sleep this week, albeit as usual very little - but better than the past 3 months (about 10 hours total since monday). So y'all post some fun stuff tomorrow in my absence. Should I be up and running again by morning, I will do a mini edition.

Whew! You sure got some plights bro...
Hopefully you'll get a break soon...and glad you got through that MRI deal still in one piece. I have awful veins too...they usually go to my foot for a vein... :-/ - I just always warn them if they mess with my foot too much, it will be in their back cavity before we're done... [smiley=laugh.gif]

I hate needles and probs and things.........hopein the technitions aren't burnt out and forgot to grab a new needle after probing the last aids patient. Just a little pin prick Pam
