Title: I passed it!!! Post by sandie99 on Nov 17th, 2005, 2:34pm I had my theory test today. I passed it with flying colors! ;;D So I'm one step closer from having my driver's licence! :) But I must admit... I was so, so nervous before the test! I've been practicing a lot and I knew the theory book from cover to cover, but I've heard enough times people telling me how their nerves got the best of them. Luckily that didn't happen to me. Now I just hope that I'll get to drive that driving test before we have lots of snow in here... :) Sanna |

Title: Re: I passed it!!! Post by Annette_Emond on Nov 18th, 2005, 12:07am The year that I learned to drive I was 16 years old, living in a northern region of Canada. We had an average of 2 to 3 feet of snow on the ground at any given time between October and May. Although it turned out that it was several years before I did a lot of driving (no car do do it with), I never forgot what I learned that first winter. I have rarely been afraid to drive in the winter, but have always had a very healthy respect for what winter can do to driving conditions. If ever I was afraid, I figured I probably would be better off to just stay home and be safe. Sanna, learn to drive in ice and snow, always always respect it, and you will always be confident that you can drive in anything. The biggest problem I have now is I can't drive in the dark anymore, but that's because I'm getting older. Good Luck Sanna :) |
