Title: contractions
Post by juvy on Nov 14th, 2005, 6:00pm
Well...contractions have started...they're about 15 minutes apart so wish me luck and a speedy delivery!

Hubby is asleep so I'll wake him up if/when they get closer together.

Wake that man up right now and tell him to get you to the hospital so they can give you some heavy-duty narcs.  lol or at the least an epidural.    ::)

My husband and I were remembering 20 yrs ago yesterday the birth of the twins 1/2 hr apart. naturally.  When my water broke in the middle of the night in bed my husband was so exhausted (in the Marines) working a terrible shift.  My Mother handed me a broom and I beat him over the head with the broom string end.  It finally got him there.  Then I had to take a cab 45 min ride into hospital.  Once the cab driver found out what was up he got clearance to run all lights and get me there.  WEEEE.

Congradulations and good luck!

Why is it every time someone says speedy delivery, I think of Mr. Rogers?     :P

Probably because, like me, you've been forced to endure decades of Mr Roger's reruns. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, my ass...  ;)

April... it seems I missed all the excitement!  :-/
I hope everything went smoothly and you're now enjoying your precious new baby. I hope you are both well and resting. hugs, nani

Oh, Nani!  I couldn't agree with you more!  I didn't have decades, only two kids, no grandkids yet, but I absolutely
HATED that neighborhood!!!

You made my day.  Laughing so hard, water coming out of my eyes, and my bladder is leaking!

Thanks

Sandy
