Donna, my daughter, I think she was about 2ish, used to sing Jesus loves the little children... only she would massacre the words.... like this...  it was hilarious!

Jeejus whuppa wiggle chichin
whuppa chichin whuppa whirl

Proud yes......but laughing hysterically.

It is a proud moment isn't it. To bad the kids don't recite it here. The schools are scared they will be sued.............

Not only do they learn it and recite it in the school but also in daycare.   They also have a "moment of silence" as well....Living in the Bible belt DOES have advantages.

I was unaware that he had learned it in daycare so it was a magnificent surprise to me when he correctly recited it to me this weekend.  Made my heart swell with pride!  My kids already are learning respect for God and for their Country (thier mama is making sure of  that ;) . )  Justin calls the American Flag  "'Merica!" and points them out whenever  he sees them... "Look Mom!!  'Merica!!!" So this was just icing on the cake!

Anyone who sues a school over a child reciting the pledge of allegiance should be shot for treason.  IMHO.

Not here in New York Yankee hell. New Yorkers just say "Fuck you. Don't bug us. If we wanna say it: Tough shit."

Couldn't agree  more DD.. Let them go and live (and sponge no doubt) elsewhere if they don't want to be loyal to the country they live in.

Getting such good surprises from kids are great moments in momming.

Saying "indivisible" is cute. ;)

MOM!  This knot in my shoelace is indivisible.
