I have a friend from Scotland who had CH for eight years, progressing from episodic to chronic.

While working in South Africa, he was approached by three black South African males while he was parking his car in front of his apartment. They shot him four times and then robbed him. They shot him once in the center of his forehead; once in his right temple; once in his throat; and once in his chest.

It took two years and fifteen surgeries to put him back together, both physically and cosmetically.

He no longer has cluster headaches.

Interesting.

I think I would skip the bullets.

Being shot at, not my favourite CH treatment!

My apologies as a South African that your friend got shot in my country. Unfortunately voilence in this continent is an ancient tradition. >:(

Glad your friend survived!

But wait a minute ... What happened to all these clusterheads that said they would do ANYTHING to stop them? Huh?

The list of remedies that most WILL NOT try is getting longer:
Getting shot in the head
Drinking your own piss
And of course my contribution: the pecker yanker/riper toilet seat treatment

VERY interesting ....
