So, I was tired of my hair color....so, I did what anybody would do, I bought a box of hair color. The color was supposed to be a dark amber color, very pretty color on the box! So not how it turned out on my hair. But I totally could have worn the color for Halloween, b/c it turned my hair ORANGE! Needless to say I've made an appointment at a real salon today to get it redone.

That's the last time I will do my own hair color again!

While you wait for your appointment:

see if you match any of the changing leaves on the trees outside your house....

find a pumpkin that flatters your new color.....

toss a handful of yellow-orange ladybugs into your hair and try to find them....

Kimmie,

don't worry. You'll have a better luck next time, I'm sure of that. I've dyed my hair several times and it has always turned out fine. My luck is that my real color is brunette, so the only time I had orange hair was when hairdresser dyed my hair blonde then dyed it red. And in time the red faded.

I'm not that bold. And if I was to accessorize accordingly, I would have to go out in PUBLIC to get accessories. Not something I'm willing to do.

Just got back from the salon.....it's getting closer to the color that I want, but still not there. My hair is now an auburn color instead of orange.

And this is my 400th post, YEA!!

I'm jealous! Always wanted to have red hair - ever since I was a toddler. Never mind - the dark brunett is turning grey at a rate of knots (it's living with Brian what does it!!) and I'm slowly,slowly working at becoming russet - but it's not going to happen overnight. Been there- tried that - not good! No bloody photographs either! Den

Well, if everybody starts a donation for the "Kim needs a Digital Camera" fund, then I'm sure I could have some pics up. It's an auburn color now though. I think I'm gonna go back and have her redye it.
