I love those little furry worms! ;;D  But as for a warm winter?  Well, the animals around here (central WI) are very fat, and according to my nature'y hunting husband and his elders, they say we're going to be in for a very cold, hard winter.  S'ok tho, I gots me a hobby to pass the time now!  hehe

;)

A friend of mine said that her father, a farmer, has predicted that it'll take 2 months before winter arrives to Finland this time. Let's just see what happends. So far October and November have been warmest in a long, long, long time.

We can always tell by our cat.  He has already porked out (his food bill has gone up by half) and his coat has really thickened.  That has never failed to be an accurate predictor in 8 years.

How's the cat do with sports handicapping? Maybe we could put college logo's in front of the cat and have him pick each Saturday morning.
