Gator, I have an idea (not always bright though! ;))

I know a crocodile is diff from an alligator but they are still from the same family. You would keep the symbolism but if you use say Crock instead of Gator you'll have 2 meanings as Crock also means:" an old car in bad condition" ;;D

Seems like everyone is changing names lately so you will be hip and in(I've gathered that is not totally your style but what the hell, live dangerously, like your name :-*)

Maybe this is one cent too many

Hip? Me? pfff I'm too old and too busy to worry about what the crowd is doing. I'll hang on to my handle. I was dubbed Gator back in 1983 by a bunch of rowdies I trained with in the Air Force. Seems they thought it was funny, me coming from Louisiana and all. The name stuck and 22 years later, here I am! Man, time flies when you're having fun.

And in Oz it's different again. We use a crock-pot for cooking but a croc is what's been hanging around this last week and it pays to keep a bloody good eye out while fishing.
