Title: A supernatural experience
Post by rickyshot on Oct 26th, 2005, 7:03am
I am not making this up, I swear. This kind of thing has happened to me before. My mom has been deceased for five years. Her anniversary of her death is Oct 29. We were very close.

A few days ago I got a call from a Mary S....on my caller ID. It was my mothers name. I have an aunt with the same name as my mothers married family name is the same as my aunts maiden name. I called the number and it said the number was out of service. I though that odd that a caller ID would register a number out of service. I saw my cousin the next day and asked her how my aunt is and she told me that she moved into a residence for seniors. OK I figure that is why the number is not in service.....Well last night I saw my aunt and asked her why did she call me. She informed me that she did not call me. I said her name was on the caller ID. She said impossible, not only did she not call me but her name registers as Mary something else her married name on caller ID.  Holy shit what is that [smiley=eek.gif] I am not afraid as any sign God would give me from my mom would not hurt me. I erased the number shit, I think those numbers have a meaning too.

Yes it was local. I called my phone service company and they cannot provide me with alog of incoming calls unless I get the police involved. Yeah right

If I was your Mom I would also like to say "Hi!" from time to time from where ever I am.

Death don't break bonds.

I've NEVER BEEN POSITIVE in my own mind if I beleive in super natural stuff.......even tho alot of it is QUITE convinceing. We live in a house over 200 years old.....supposidly a man killed himself in the liveingroom many years ago with a shotgun. (swell) I hear alot of people talk about haunted houses ect and not all are bad.....still not sure I totally believe in it all and it's sumthing else going on. But I get a cold breeze go thru me or around me alot in here at times and I have actually sat up in my chair and spun around to see if anything went past me to feel that. Definite cold breeze !!! I have felt it many times and sumtimes just consider'd it probly a draft in this old house esp how the upstairs goes up causeing air flow. But it happen'd in here in the rec room the other day. I have noticed something moveing thru a crystal ball cuz I collect them kind of and have several big ones in and around things. Always thought it to be onea my house cats walking past on the floor but they were all with me on the couch or in the other room. They say if the cats are content and fine it's nothing BAD......cats will FREAK at bad supernatural stuff or evil spirits. So for what it's worth......I thought I'd add this but didn't mean to hyjack. I still am not saying I beleive in it all......but where there is a way there could be a strong will Pam

When I go on line to check my phone account ( I pay electronically) there's a menu with a "reverse call" button where you can put in a number and see if it is a good number and who it is listed to.  I think if I were you, I'd check it out and if it's not a working number, check again with the phone company.

Quite an experience!
I was freaked out enough when 3 of my dreams have turned into reality.

Georgia sees and communicates with disembodied souls on a regular basis. She is sought out for advice on "hauntings" etc...

We are amazed that with so much talk about god...spirituality...prayer etc... that so few folks admit to or even rail against the notion of the spirits who surround us.

My fear and ego keep me from being open to "seeing" ..."hearing"....sensing them

in the dark

in the night

Wow Ricky, that is very strange. That phone call COULD have been your moms way of saying that she is fine and is still with you. I believe when our loved ones leave this earth, they become our guardian angels. I also believe we never really lose them, because we carry them in our hearts forever.

Finally!!! Someone ELSE admits it. I have had dreams since I was a boy in church, and was often told it was a 'gift'. I dreamed of passed, present and never knew I was dreaming of future events until AFTER they would come to pass. Always tripped me out! Nowdays, if one of my dreams were to come true - um, the world may end. (bad BAD dreams here).

I never believed in 'haunted' houses until 5 years ago when I moved into an old building in Collinsville, IL that I later learned had a big rep and was called "Popes House" (Never found out why, and searched the local library to find out what happened in that buildings past to try and determine WTF was going on). I never knew the building history or that it was even haunted until one night I came home to find a guy sitting inside the doorway on the steps. I opened the door and in a flash he was gone. Freaked me out! EVERYONE in that building had stories to tell, and when the new peeps moved in below me, I asked them the first week they were there how they liked the place and Amber freaked and told me about an event that happened. I laughed and told them, "Yeah, it's haunted alright, but I think they are harmless pranksters." That place made a believer out of me and anyone else who entered and had an 'experience'. I think Georgia will remember the day I was on the phone with her and a glass with a lid on it started rattling. I was across the room and wasn't sure where it was coming from. I walked over to my entertainment center and saw the glass lid on my carnival glass just kind of hopping around on it. I told G what was happening and she told me to pick it up. I was scared to but did it anyway, thinking as soon as I picked it up it would stop. IT DIDN'T!!!  I held the glass jar in my hand while the lid just hopped around on it. I almost dropped it! After awhile though, I would laugh and 'talk to the ghosts'.
How many times have you woke up to all of the cabinet doors open, or your KEYS in the fridge?

Oh, and if your TV keeps switching to "Green Acres" on it's own - You might be haunted by a REDNECK!  [smiley=laugh.gif]

Peace,
Carl D
