Just a reminder, the polls close Thursday. If you have not voted yet, please head over to the OUCH Business Board and take a minute to do so.

Only 57 people have voted, so far.

Now is your chance to do something about what many of you have been complaining about: The BoD and Officers. Let your feelings be known.

If you only want to vote for one person, or even NONE, FINE! Do it! Just vote for all "NO VOTE" (I think that is what it is called) (It is at the bottom of the balot) Just make sure that you cast 9 votes, even if they are all "NO VOTES". "NO VOTES" send a message, too! As a matter of fact, a very STRONG message.

So please, don't use the line that you don't like anyone that is in there, so why vote. We want to hear from as many members as possible.

GET OUT AND VOTE (to steal a slogan)

Thanks to those that have already voted, and thanks to those that DO get their votes in.

It should come right up, the bottom thread on the "new business board" option from the member's corner drop down on the home page, when you log in.

That number is not the number of people, that is really the number of votes. Each person places 9 votes. Take that number, and divide it by 9, and you get how many people have voted.

558 votes (present total of votes) divided by 9 equals 62 people have placed votes.

Look kids: I've logged in to OUCH, business boards, etc. before; sometimes just to watch the fur fly.

Just voted and noticed that only 27% of the membership has voted.

Actually only about 27% of the registered message board users have voted, that works out to around 3% of the 2240 members of record. That is why mass emailings have gone out several times during the process, to make sure ALL members know of the elections and procedures. Mass emails to members are but one way the OUCH leadership team is re-establishing communication with the ENTIRE membership, not just registered message board users.

Unfortunately, when I click on VOTE HERE - 2005 OUCH Board of Directors Election to vote, nothing. Never opens. I've been there half a dozen times. The others open but not the last one, not place to put my X

Charlie, are you logged in to the message board? At the top right there's a Login or Register link. You have to be logged in in order to see the ballot.

Have you logged into the message board too? OUCH is set up with two seperate logins. One to access the members only area, and then another login to access the message board as a member and not just view it as a guest. Check and make sure, in the upper right corner, just like here, that you are logged in the message board.
