The Monsters in my Head,
By Felicia McConnel : For Clusterheads Everwhere

Their always there
The monsters in my Head.
Their tearing me apart
They rip and tare at my mind and heart.
The monsters in my head.
They blure my vision
The control my mind
Digging, digging lookng for something they can't find
The monsters in my head.
I want to rip my hair out
I wish I were dead
With the way they curse and shout
The monsters in my head
I try and drown them out
Yet no matter how loud I turn the music
Their screaming vocies still get out
Their always there
The monsters in my head.

The Party

I am alone in the quiet
I can hear them coming
They come and go as they please
"We're back!" they say
Then the pain begins
There's thousands
They fill every corner of my mind.
The misic gets turned up
Louder, Louder, and Louder yet
They dance and distroy what ever's left from last time
I try to get out but theres no escape
Or is there?
No, I can't but yes I must
The battle goes on inside my mind
I have no choice
They shrink and shrivel as the gas pours in
This is were the party ends
And were I begin
Begin to pick up the peices of my mind
The Party is over
At least, until next time

Felicia is a very talented person.writing is just one talent she's also an artist and is already designing tattoos .She gets migraines besides seeing what billy goes through with his Clusters.She has shown me some of her poems and if you wanna here some get to the gut love lost poems read hers.I can't believe she can have such an insight into something she's barely had but man o man is she good.I'm lucky to be able to see her talents blossom.Love you Felicia.....Mom

Kill me Mr.Teacher

I sit and listen.
Mr.Teacher drowns on and on.
It slips in the back door.
Slowly it creeps closer and closer.
I try to ignore it but its always there.
Coming and coming on more and more.
Pain increasing quickly now.
Tearing my brain to shreads.
Want to scream but can't because of class.
Driving nails into my skull. Harder and harder they pound
I clench my teeth to try and drown them out.
Its like a construction site on my mind.
Drillingpoles down my neck and spine.
Light and sound kill me again and again.
Mr. teacher calls on me in a yell.
I want to scream at him to shut up.
Finally the bell rings and I run to my next class.
I want to beg him,
"Please!Kill me!Kill me Mr.Teacher!
Make the pain go away!"
I'm dieing in this class.
But no one can tell.
I want to rip my hair out.
Let me out of this hell.
Please, I'm begging you.
Kill me. Kill me, Mr.Teacher

So beautifully sad. No 13 year old should even be able to dream up stuff like this, let alone live it.

These are incredible, Felicia. Very moving and poignant, May I have your permission to publish them in the OUCH newsletter? There's a special section for art and writing by kids and young people.

Felicia, you are a very good poet and you are in touch with your thoughts and able to express them so that others can relate to them.

Never give up on writing and you should be proud that you are so mature and gifted.

You do not sound 13 and because you experience this pain of your own, you have more insight than most adults into the human soul.
