Interesting web site and accurate from my local knowledge;

The Watchdog website allows you to input your address and brings up
known sex offenders in your area. Click on any colored square on the
map
to see the name, address, picture and conviction of each offender.

That's pretty scary. There one child molester 4 blocks from my house and there are two others in the area that live less than a block from a grade school.

My State isnt in the first link given, and my county is not listed in that link given for 'all other states'.

In my area, if you have a child registered in school, they automatically put your name on a mailing list, and we are supposed to get mail alerting us of any move-ins or move-outs concerning child molesters. They send pictures, too. Im not sure who pays for that, but its a nice service.

My buddy Phil asked me to do a search earlier this year and I found this site. I had never checked before that.
I told my sis in law the day I met my new neighbor in my old building I had a weird feeling about him. I was shocked when I saw him on the list. I told my niece after that I didn't want her or her little friends to just come by anymore. I was shocked to find we have 102 offenders in our area. Scary!

I live out in the boonies and have 15 rite near me.......which is one reason I don't wave at cars that drive by anymore. Great ech ? I don't glare cuz they slow down and stare Pam :-/

I've been watching them for years. They all seem to move into one neighborhood in Gladewater -- right now from the grade school. The local paper publishes names and addresses and pictures. It is scary.

Personally, I think they should be casterated (without sleeping meds) the first time they're caught and convicted. Then they won't bother another kid.
