Okay...
I've lowered myself to a post like this, but maybe, just maybe someone knows someone who knows, etc ...
Well ... our buyer had to back out because they couldn't get financing to buy our home. If we don't sell this house soon, we'll be ... uh ... :-X
Price says $149, but we reduced it to $145. Can't figure why it hasn't been snatched up at that price [smiley=huh.gif]
Even if no one is interested, that's fine. But, you may want to go to the links and see why we're so sad to have to leave this home due to all the medical problems.
We had planned on having a huge Ch gathering there at one time, but too late now :(

Sorry for the cheap advertisment, but I'm sitting here listening to jackhammers blasting outside and so sick of looking out the window only to see 14,000 bricks instead of 14,000 ft. beautiful mountains and the deer and bucks that lay right outside our window against the side of the house. Well, the dream almost worked :-/

Sorry you need to sell it, Dave. Looks more like a resort ranch.
How far away is your nearest neighbor?
Is it really quiet there?
you say 14k bricks, are they developing right near you?

If you moved that house to my area...it would go for 250,000 to 300,000 easy.... :o How are the jobs in that area...? Any industry close by?

If I had a job I knew I could count on...I would move out there in a heartbeat...

If 300 CHeads chipped in $500, we could have a safe haven. Granted, it's not exactly the Island we'd envisioned, but on the bright side, there's obvously no lawn maintenance, and Dave & Annette would be indentured servants for the duration.

Personally, I think it has merit.

Be glad it's where it is. Here houses like that run just about $90,000. Wish I could move the place east.

I use to live in La Junta [Colorado] at one time.

I'd say it's a normal street block with neighbors close by on both sides and across the street. No one behind us though to block our views. Extremely quiet area though, no kids on our block. Neighbors all stay to themselves unless anyone needs anything at all, then they are right there for you. The 14,000 bricks I mentioned is our view out our window now in this small apartment we're now living in ... in Denver. :-/

It's mezmerizing! In the mornings there is what they call the Aspen Glow, a beautiful redish pink glow that runs down the mountains. In the afternoons, you can sometimes count up to 30 deer in the fields, plus the ones that lay in the shade just outside our window. Honestly, there are really only 4 main good paying job venues: Real Estate, Tourism (rafting, fishing, skiing, hiking, biking, etc ..., a Minimun Security Prison 3 miles out of town and the biggest area is in construction. Huge need for people of all construction trades.
Most other jobs are only in the $9.00 per hour range.
