Title: Prayer Call...... Post by Ree on Oct 17th, 2005, 8:42pm Just when you thought it was safe to get back into the water..... I just got bit by the ole jaws of life.....My Mom broke her hip... please send a prayer for "Doris"... my MOM who much like my DAD has never been hospitalized... surgery tomorrow and hopefully a quick recovery (((at 81? I don't know..... she never took care of her bones.... all of you ladies tomorrow.... go out get some calcium and take it.... Love to you all..... A very sad Ree who doesnt want to grow old.... |

Title: Re: Prayer Call...... Post by Ree on Oct 18th, 2005, 9:41pm Ok UPDATE here..... MOM was operated on at noon time today didn't come out of the recovery room till 7:30 to night she. She looked great and though still pretty depressed, she seems to have made it through this surgery. They replaced half her hip and her ((adorable and young surgeon woo hoo cutie pie)) explained to me that he has done 5 of these surgeries this week. Moms oxygen levels keep dropping due to poor circulation from all the years she smoked. Whil'st you are all taking your calcium you could maybe quit smoking too so ole ree doesnt have to worry about her friends here at CH.com...I love you all~~ thanks for the prayers.... and thoughts and just for being here...... Ree ps Dave is still getting hit about every other day. We are hoping he is on a downward taper of his cycle.... just shoot me now...! |
