Nani's Mother has been hospitalized and is not expected to make it through. As of yesterday, oxygen has been removed and Nani is in a holding pattern. She is also getting hit with CH.

Please send her prayers, hugs and vibes.

Thank you Sandy and everyone. My Mom passed away within a few minutes of pulling the O2. She was ready to let go, I guess. Which reaffirmed my decision to pull it. I'm off to make the arrangements. Have family coming from all over...
have been and will be pretty busy for the next few days.
Thank you all for the prayers and vibes...I guess I need them more than I even thought. :'(

Dear Nani,

My condolences on your loss and deepest sympathy for the circumstances. Was sitting here mourning the same day one year anniversary of my own similar loss when I had to make the same decisions.

Toughest thing I ever had to do. Regrets? how can there not be, BUT, no dear, you were in the right place at the right time and you did what had to be done.

You have to remember that this was the last loving thing you could do for your Mom. Who better to do it? Who would she want to do it? The words are "thank you"and someday she will tell you that herself.

Have only been here a short time, but I look forward to your posts and read every one. The loving, caring, supporting attitude is obvious. Your Mom would be proud, heck, I know she is proud. Obviously raised you right.

To be hit with CH at this most trying of times is cruel, and my heart aches for you and your family.
