I found this site back in 98 -- before there was even a red light (or district) in Clusterville. BMonee, I was in about the same shape was you were. It's helped me thru a lot of bad times over the years.

Okay, this one really has me befuddled.  I've seen BMonee around for awhile now, and I hell I rarely post anymore, and his message was one that many of us of here can answer in kind to.  Certainly this site saved my life, and Jonny you were one of the first to jump in and help save it.  O2 and a regulator...free no less, phone calls and emails that helped keep my head above water and a good swift kick in the ass by you and Slammy when we got to whining too much (now that part is missing on here nowadays).

Why are you so intent on troll labeling him?  I'm not trying to stir up shit with ya J, I just am truly confused by this one.  I know lots of people who have talked to DJ.

Brian, you should have left your original message, that was the post of a clusterhead and an important one.  No one likes to open a thread and find a deleted post.  I personally consider it bad netiquette, but it doesn't help you look better when you remove what was a valid poll for what the good of ch.com, and the clusterheads like Jonny that stand guard here, have done.

Can i get a PM too so I can find out what the hell is going on?  Can someone clue me in as to why a thread that i consider very emotional and difficult to even talk about gets hijacked with nothing but insults........... and that is considered 'standing guard"?  What is this, Jr high school?  We gotta write secret notes back and forth to one another and talk about each other?  

What are the previous issues?  you talking about a month or so ago when jonny and i went back and forth with insults?  I thought we were having fun, but people got upset with me cause they thought i really was trying to insult.  I asked people here how i can better get along with people, and i was told to knock that shit off, and to try to give as well as take.  I have done what was advised.
Is that it?  

I am sorry to erase a post, i know its bad netiqette.  But it was hard enough for me to talk about that, its not something i even talk with my wife about.  I didnt want people to pull up a thread (maybe even new sufferers who came here in the same shape i was in when i first came here), and see that we poke fun and insult when someone talks about suicide.

Jonny, would you please tell me what the hell you were afraid of?  What was it you were guarding the family from?

Man, this is a clusterheadache message board, and the intent is to have a place where 'suicide headache' sufferers can come to try to find relief, comfort, knowledge, and maybe even a fucking reason to live.  Maybe someone who's family has become torn............ who's professional collegues have lost hope in.......... and who's 9mm never looked so fucking good.......maybe if that person can just find one simple reason just to put the gun away.........one reason to have a small glimmer of hope........maybe if that person is able to take a break from bending the steel supports holding up his desk by banging his head against it so hard...........can just stumble on this site........and see.......that there are others that also suffer the same thing...........and have knowledge that may be able to help him..........maybe that person is for whom this site was created.

You think that i am embarassed about crying?  I dont believe I was crying when i spoke with DJ on the phone, honestly i cant remember.  But i have cried before because of CH.  Of course.  Im not embarassed about it at all.  I cried once in front of my wife and kid while banging my head on my daughters bed.  That was just a few days before i met DJ.
The other time I cried about CH is when i just typed this message to you trying to explain what this is all about, and what it can mean to sufferers.  Its that important to me, and that emotional.  Im not embarassed at all.

Wonderful idea, I will go hug mine too.  I'm glad you are expressing your feelings here Brian.  This site has saved many lives, LITERALLY.  Hang in there, keep giving back what you got from this family, and you'll have a chair at the thanksgiving table in no time.  It tends to work that way around here.

Jonny will always want to protect this family, and he always watches out for everyone here, and that will include you someday too I bet.  No true CH'er has ever been made to run away from here because of a little disagreement ...  they may go away for awhile, but we always come back, there isn't anywhere else to go.

Don is probably just at the bath house with Lance or I'm sure he'd have been here flaming too...he's a real flamer that Don... ;)

Might get a better reception if all your posts weren't negative, if you didn't hijack others posts, or at least be consistant in your views, in other words......don't act like a troll and you wont get labled one. I deleted a message on a post to you once because I thought I was being harsh, even caught a little slack over it, but this one stays. I don't want to be the one responsible for running anyone off but this has nothing to do with CH. If you want me to cite some good examples I will, that is if you haven't deleted them too...............

matt, his original message did have a great deal to do with CH.  It was a poll asking how many people here had their lives saved literally by finding this site.  How many people had been to the edge with a loaded gun at their head, then found this place, or been ready to do themselves in completely by any means, walk away from a spouse and kids because of the nightmare CH can cause, and then found ch.com and has found a new lease on life and dealing with the beast.

I don't know about the other shit that was posted before and I know that he posted some very unpopular views, but this post was about CH and a very important part of it.  I understand his reasoning for deleting it, even if it wasn't a good thing to do.  This site quite literally saved my life in June of 02.  I was ready to end it all because I couldn't get any 2 doctors to agree on a diagnosis and was getting no help, had no means of proper treatment and had a small baby and 2 other kids that I wasn't able to take care of anymore.  My hubby is active duty AF and he was being deployed yet again that year after getting from visiting 'Stan in Nov 01 until Mar of 02.  He was being sent to Bosnia for a second time in 4 years that fall and I had no idea how I was going to cope with life alone again with 3 small kids around, one of them just a 2 year old.  

Jonny was one of those most instrumental in saving my life during that time.  He taught me about O2 and he made a converted regulator for me, free of charge no less.  There were alot of folks that helped me out, but Jonny was one of the first to pick up a newbie who was lost and at the end of the rope.  I truly don't know that I would be around today if I hadn't found ch.com the day I did.  I still remember it as clear as day.  I was sitting on the patio behind my house under a gazebo, and was counting the meds in the house wondering if they would work, if there was enough.  This place is what saved me, it taught me how to cope and what to use to deal with things when meds don't work or you can't get them.  Even the littlest things...like using cold not heat, learning that I wasn't crazy and that others rocked and paced that I wasn't a freak of nature by having to move when I had one of those 'headaches'.  

Don't take this as a lecture to you about BMonee, your judgement is yours and I don't wish to interfere with your business in anyway, I just want to make sure that the original message that was sadly deleted, doesn't get lost.  It was CH oriented, and a very important one, or I would never have thought of questioning J on his behavior.  That's not an action I do lightly.

matt, his original message did have a great deal to do with CH.  It was a poll asking how many people here had their lives saved literally by finding this site.  How many people had been to the edge with a loaded gun at their head, then found this place, or been ready to do themselves in completely by any means, walk away from a spouse and kids because of the nightmare CH can cause, and then found ch.com and has found a new lease on life and dealing with the beast.

I read the original one Cat, just pointing out to him why he is so unpopular. Why did he delete one of the few positive posts that he has posted. I know what this place means to me, and with it being that important I wouldn't jepordise it. You take care of whats important to you.

Agreed matt, you take care of what is important to you, and this site is that.  Deleting a post like that was not, as I said in my earlier post, any means of making himself any better in anyone's eyes here.  That was a mistake.  

I wasn't a part of the stuff that happened before, I spent the last 9 months finishing my degree and only reading threads that I thought were of interest to me, and that wasn't many at the time.  All I had to go by was this post that I read, and it was a good message and an important one.  It's that message that I am defending here.  Since I wasn't a part of what happened before, it's my way to let each person establish their character with me on their own, and I won't deny that same opportunity to anyone based on any past actions that I wasn't a part of.
