I've just read another thread where one of us feels all alone except for this site.
I can't tell you how broken hearted that makes me feel and I don't want anyone here ever to feel alone.
We all need a safety net, Jonny has said this many times as have others so this is nothing new, its just my turn to say it now.
If you have MSN, Yahoo or Skype or whatever add people from here. Add me, add anyone you like but add someone, several someones! We wouldn't put them on our profiles if we weren't happy for people to add us!!
Look at peoples profiles and put their email addy in your address book. Mine is there - use it.
Make sure SOMEONE here has your phone number. I will happily ring anyone if I see they are awol to check they are okay or just to talk if you need a friend.
I don't EVER say things I don't mean, I think you all know that by now!

If you are going away let someone know. If you are going to be offline for a while then I want a snail mail addy cos I'm not letting go of any of you.

Please do something for me, now, and just let someone else know your contact details before the end of today.

We're a family, and its no good if any of us aren't here.

Helen is my clusterbuddy contact because I live alone and I wanted someone from here to have my info. Hers is written down in my planner that I take everywhere with me.

Right on, Helen. It's easy to feel isolated sometimes, even around lots of people. So I for one feel better knowing there are one or two CH'ers who might notice me missing and give a hoot. Every participating member here should know that there are caring people behind these messages, although some days it doesn't seem that way. [smiley=laugh.gif]

Yes over the years I have wondered what has happened to a few people and the thought has crossed my mind that they could have died and no one in their family knew to let us know. It is good to have a family member be aware that if something happens, there is a contact person to call and let them know.

I've had a couple people call me out of the blue, & it was needed at the time that they came!! Made me feel so good, Loved, & needed here!! It also let me know that I make a differance in peoples lives & that even though I think what I say or do is small, It HELPED someone else in need!! I love you all here & don't want to lose any of you!!! everyone is welcomed to my info!!

I agree totally, Helen. My wife knows to notify y'all if anything were to happen.

Jolene, I really wouldn't post personal contact info in an open forum like this. The cluster family won't misuse it, but all kinds of spammers have web crawlers going through the net harvesting names, addresses, phone numbers, etc.

I can never go a day without checking in. I've had a call or two out of the blue. The first contact I had with a clusterhead was like that. I'll never forget it.

I can't go a day without checking in either, Charlie (is this what's called an obession?). I am from a very, very small family. I was an only child, never in one school more than 1-1/2 years during childhood, so long-time friends were not an option, parents gone, a few scattered cousins who don't keep in touch (neither do I), a husband and my two grown daughters. I have a few very close friends (my red hat sisters), and they are very close to me. I met my first Clusterhead when in some silly post about stupid city names, he mentioned a city nearby. We ended up meeting and having lunch together - it was very special. I won't ever forget that either. This board and the people on it have become the big family I never had.
