Title: my cat can open doors
Post by alienspacebabe on Oct 4th, 2005, 6:16pm
Seems my cat has mastered the art of opening doors... and, it seems, he's also toilet-trained himself!

Came home from work. 1st floor bathroom door was wide open (a definite no-no in my place), fan was turned on (was off last night), and the lid was up (never happens here).

Smart cat! Now I just need to teach him to put a new roll on...

My two cats can open doors, it dont matter if they swing in or out just as long as they are not fully closed.

Funny ass thing to watch ;;D

My older cat Chances taps on cuboard doors till they pop open and then she reaches in and in she goes.  One time she scared the crap out of my friend when she kept the cat for a month.  When she came home every cuboard door was open in the house. lol

My cat got on petco.com the other day and ordered $7000 worth of catnip.  Lucky for me he used the neighbor's credit card and had it shipped to the siamese down the street.

ya, when he wants to be, some times he beats the sh1t out of them, but the other cats start it most of the time..
he plays pay backs, he climbs everything & jumps on them when they aren't looking!!  he is just now calming down, we can pet him now when he wants to be petted ..
but he's cool!! ::) ;;D

That painting of the cat is WAYYYY cool !!!!! Very nice pic.........puuurfect Pam

Yeah I wonder'd bout the bobcat mix (always heard them called pixiebobs) esp bein most wild cats are solitary critters ta boot in the wild (cept'n lions).....so I wonder'd how they were around other pets. Hope there never on the lunch menu. I'd LOVE to get one.....there are none round here but did see an add for cerval's in a local paper. They kinda look like hyena cats in a way.....not sure how well they adapt to other pets either.

If you get them as kittens, it is better to fit them in with other cats, I got mine from Ohio, one for my Grandma's cats got hook up with a bobcat, had the kittens in the barn, danm bobcat kill her poodle & Uncle set a trap & killed the moma Cat in the trap, a week later he got the bobcat, I was pissed.. It was a lovely animal!! so we end up with 4 kittens to bottle feed, my sister has one, & gave to other two away to friends in Ohio, had them all fixed!!

One of our cats is a natural at opening doors.  Cabinet doors, screen doors with the verticle handles,  bi-fold doors, etc.  Frequently find him in some of the oddest places or demaning to be let back in after getting out.

The other cat just thinks he's nuts and hisses at him when he starts crying inside some cabinet or closet or attaches himself to a screen to be let back in.

Wow, you guys are lucky to have such talented pets!

The only thing my cat can do by itself is eat, sleep and shit. LMAO

She is also able to differentiate colors, because the only time the little bitch rubs up against my legs is when I'm wearing black dress pants ;;D

Seeya,

Jimmers

Hey, if you can teach that to your cat, send that kitty over here so that it can teach it to my flatmates! They are in their 20s, but they can't master that...yet. ::)
