I think Xerox, wanting to charge $289 for the first half hour of on-site repair of one of their copy machines, and then $59 for every additional 15 minutes after that, is the moral equivalent of ass-raping livestock. Especially when I fixed the damn thing myself, with a pair of needlenosed pliars and a screwdriver. Hrmph! Rhetorically, I asked them how they justified their service fees. The woman snottily replied, "That's what we charge."

I cordially invited her to suck a turd. >:( [smiley=furious.gif]

I feel for you... I know those people are somethin else...

I ran out of Toner, about a month ago... I called the service center and ask them to mail me a couple of them refills... Well this guy shows up, drops them off and leaves... well about 2 weeks later my boss got the bill...

It was:
$22.50 x 2 for the refills
$100.00 to deliver them...

Ass kicker is they are just around the corner, I can walk there... and they charged $100.00 just to bring it around the corner... Shot'em on Site....

I'm glad you fixed it yourself... That's why I fix computers myself, the charges from local companies are insane... but obviously some people do pay without questions!!!

Once I worked in an office and their tech charged $75.00 to start a defrag!!!!! ::)
