Title: Re: Ok Geeks, gather round!...... Post by ExplodingEyeBall on Sep 28th, 2005, 2:58pm According to my pocket protector....... ;;D As far as I know, these types of files are already compressed and win zipping them would probably not make them small enough to do you any good. You may be able to import it into another program like Adobe Premier or Windows Movie Maker and then save them in a different format that will be a little smaller. |

Title: Re: Ok Geeks, gather round!...... Post by maffumatt on Sep 28th, 2005, 3:13pm your email wont let you email it because of its size, use a messenger service like MSN, Yahoo, or Skype and send it as a file transfer. |

Title: Re: Ok Geeks, gather round!...... Post by rextangle on Sep 28th, 2005, 3:52pm You know I would put it on my site.. but rextangle.com is no longer... (hence no Rex News of the Week for a while). It's a long story, but soon it'll be back up but at rextangle.net. Don't you have the login info from your UK buddy??? Ask him for it, (that's not a favor, is it?) and I'll help you upload that file... until then, have a seat and a smoke... ;;D The Honorable Rex Tangle ;) |

Yes. And you can talk on it too, just don't do it while you're sending the file, it will slow it down. When yer finished, get yer headset out, and have a regular conversation. Quite a few people here have it. The sound is great. ;;D |

Title: Re: Ok Geeks, gather round!...... Post by floridian on Sep 30th, 2005, 10:50am get a P2P application for filesharing. Give the file an obscure name that no-one will search for, and if you really don't want the general public to get it, encrypt it and send the password to the intended recipient. |
