How the hell do I email a 73.2 MB music video?

It spins in my send box (cable) for 15 mins but never goes.

Can WinZip handle this....and will the peeps on the other end need Win to retrieve it?

According to my pocket protector....... ;;D

As far as I know, these types of files are already compressed and win zipping them would probably not make them small enough to do you any good.

You may be able to import it into another program like Adobe Premier or Windows Movie Maker and then save them in a different format that will be a little smaller.

your email wont let you email it because of its size, use a messenger service like MSN, Yahoo, or Skype and send it as a file transfer.

Jonny, do you have an FTP and can you upload it to your site then email the location to the recipient?

WTF are you sending 73.2 of shyte??? ;;D
Or you can simply email the URL of where you originally downloaded that file (assuming you downloaded it)

You know I would put it on my site.. but rextangle.com is no longer... (hence no Rex News of the Week for a while).

The only way.Safest is Skype.Im sending files up to 5GB there without any problems

Use Skype. Svenn is right, it will handle up to 5Gig files. And it's secure to boot.

Yes. And you can talk on it too, just don't do it while you're sending the file, it will slow it down. When yer finished, get yer headset out, and have a regular conversation. Quite a few people here have it. The sound is great. ;;D

There is a program (cant remember the name) that cuts it into pieces and glues is back together on the other side.

I also used msn once to move a 150 Mb file, worked just fine.

Also: Google for "send large files". It comes up with a number of free services

get a P2P application for filesharing. Give the file an obscure name that no-one will search for, and if you really don't want the general public to get it, encrypt it and send the password to the intended recipient.
