Okay, I know this isn't a terrible thing in the big scheme of things, but almost all the smilies I have used on this board have quit moving, except for the hug smilie. I tried it with a different browser, and same thing. I cleaned out the cache, rechecked my browser settings (I don't think anything changed), so I'm thinking it's my new EZ Firewall. I put medium settings on most things, but still--dead smilies.
Help---any suggestions from the computer wizards?

Nope, now even my hugs aren't hugging. Turning off the firewall didn't help things to animate...must be a puter problem.

had simular problem while i was testing EZ AV/FW

no problem after i was unstalling that

Since I don't have broadband, I used my server's free "slipstream" enhancer. It degrades images a bit so I have to "show original image" to make the ones I have stored animate. Not sure what I'm saying of course.http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/electricf.gif?SSImageQuality=Full

You want smilies, lemme know. The best ones seem to be Russian and German.

Most everything is alive and kicking now....it was my firewall settings. After reinstalling and changing some settings, they are now doing their things. ;;D [smiley=damncomputer.gif]
