Title: Can you believe this guy is so, um,
Post by DonnaHar on Sep 25th, 2005, 9:12pm
unaware of his own short comings?

This is a direct quote from Pres. Bush.......re: former allies now aligning with odd partners instead of us.

This comes from the Herald-Tribune dated Sept. 18, 2005 by David E. Sanger of the New York Times:

Standing in the East Room with Vladimir Putin on Friday afternoon, Bush said he's stopped counting how many times he's met the Russian leader "because I've run out of fingers on my hands".

Good grief.....he can't count after 10!!

This is the kind of stuff I put up on my web site!  Unf'nbelieveable!!

Really, these are two of the best:

"Too many good docs are getting out of the business. Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country." —George W. Bush, Poplar Bluff, Mo., Sept. 6, 2004

"Who could have possibly envisioned an erection — an election in Iraq at this point in history?" —George W. Bush, at the white House, Washington, D.C., Jan. 10, 2005

Just goes to show, most Americans would rather have a moron in office than a commie.

You can axe anybody.  They'll all tell you.

The pronunciation I quoted above is from Webster's.

You liberal tree huggers are all alike!  You need some kind of deprogramming service and when you find one take Charlie with you.

Actuallu I changed it when I was scrolling back down the thread and hadn't seen your post yet.  I altered it back just for you.

And from infoplease.com

Quote:
Pronunciation: (nOO'klē-ur, nyOO'- or, by metathesis, -kyu-lur),

and from Plextof.com

Quote:
nookyuler
Many scientific types object to this word, regarding it as an ugly mispronunciation of the word nuclear. This is an incorrect and narrow-minded view. The word nookyuler is a precise technical term that incorporates what in computer programming is called a ``side-effect.'' Just as is often the case in CS, the side-effect here is more important than the direct instruction. Specifically, while the direct meaning is `nuclear,' the side effect is the instruction that communicates `I am a goober.'
A discussion of nuclear mispronunciations, which have been perpetrated by a many US presidents from Eisenhower on, was the subject of a ``Fresh Air'' commentary by Geoff Nunberg in October 2002. An amateur but useful discussion can be found at the Random House Word-of-the-Day feature for April 14, 2000.

Jimmy Carter, who had more marbles in his mouth than in his brain, pronounced the word as ``nookyer.'' He was often described as a nuclear engineer.

Most of these cretins fuck up English. Johnson always said VEETNAM. But the Bush crime family are classics.

Everything they say is "Unclear." http://www.kolobok.wrg.ru/smiles/standart/punish.gif?SSImageQuality=Full

Yea get those low IQ dummies out of office. I mean he did only have the same oh wait higher GPA than the lib god Bill (the Cigar) Clinton, and at the same college. And remember the stories he was out parting and doing coke the whole time. Just think how much better he could have done without those party days. Just because someone doesnt pronounce words the way others would like to hear them, or phrase statements properly they are automatically Dummies Right?

Just wondering how close I am, Im studying to be a green peace card carried so I can ride on oil leaking boats to stop fisting trollers and Naval ships as the enter and leave ports and other channels.

For those of us that live in Southern Nevada we don't give a rat's ass how you pronounce it.

We call it YOUR fuckin' garbage, not ours!

Bury it in your own stinkin' backyard!
