Hello Terry here in Davenport Ia. As you know my best friend is going to build a model of Racer1_NC to be auctioned off for OUCH The help I need is Dave and I are having trouble finding a model kit, die-cast car to make into Racer's car. We have found one diecast dirt car a #36 STACKER driven by Kenny Wallace that is the closest to the car BUT it has a kinda different sheet metal body and doesnt have the side rails and the spoiler is shaped diferent too. I will take pictures of it tomorrow and also the two closest (but different) plastic model kits we found and post them on here for all to check out and help me decide which one to build from or if someone out there knows where to get one like Racer's or closest to Racer's. P.S. if I cant get pictures on here I will have to put into someones email for them to post because i am a putor dummy and PROUD of it LOL Terry

Thank you Helen at lest I can get the pictures posted in case others have any idea where Dave and I can find model or a diecast car we can build from and I also will email Bill with the pictures so when he gets back from WINNING 1st place Ü he can look at pictures and maybe have a suggestion or two. Just checked in for a few before heading out......

On this page you can find earlier versions of cars in our division......the Vega at the bottom probably is the closest.........

Of course nothing is exact as the race car body is custom fabricated. The roof is from a Dodge Stealth, the rest is made in the shop.

Ok Bill I have seen all those models BUT at a local Die-cast store I found a blank die-cast model even closer to your car. Dave will strip the yellow paint off and repaint it white with the graphics as yours we will have to make a spoiler for it and the side bars plus have the headers come out like your car. It is $50.00 so I will have to wait til next month when I get my disablility check to get it for Dave to start working on it. Dave will go with me tomorrow and take a picture of it and email it to you for your OK. If not I agree the vega one is the closest to your car til I found the blank one. Win it all this weekend and thank you for your input. Terry
P.S. I purchased a model kit too also to make an OUCH vehicle BUT will wait til all done and give it to the person at DavCon06 to put on auction before anyone will see it I havent done a model since I was 17 so after 34 years I will see if I still have what it takes to do it Terry
