It’s no Rita by a long shot. But summer is going out with a bang around here as well. No power for 1-5 days...

that's really bad, but a good shoot. compliments to the good angle. really shows damage very well...
anyway, i just hope that this won't be the year of hurricanes too many into the greek alphabet... :-[ but whoever makes the weather, they should send the hurricanes somewhere else. i know that no one makes the weather, but still, they should go somewhere else, not to the US. it's not fair. oh, and school just sent a big $603.?? check to Houston Public Schools, so it's being wasted now on repairs i bet. well, i hope it blows over faster than they predict...

POWER RETURNS!!!!!!
The hood looks like a war zone now. But at least my kid can do somthing else besides play by candellight. Now I have the task of hauling every tree in my back yard down to the curb.
No Trees.
No Back deck.
No food.
But still we made out better then those just 1/2 mile away who lost there homes.
