The pilot of that Jetblue plane needs a shot!

I watched the whole landing--it was truly awesome. I would fly with that crew anytime. :)

Jetblue is supposed to be a very good airline. I remember when they first came about, there was an interview with the owner and he implied how much they were dedicated to customer service, which included safety being a priority. I'm very very happy things turned out the way they did!!

My cuz just started working for JetBlue as a flight attendant - have heard very good things about that airline. As well as the huge safety drill they did not that long ago. Apparently one of the first airlines to pull something off like that.

we just got home from bible study & watched the live landing, awesome job on the crews part, was praying as they landed!!!

I've just been watching it on the news here.. bet that pilot can work where he likes with that on his resume now!

That was so incredible.... Thank God....

The one guy kills me that was one the news.. he was a retired Pilot.... he states " This is not a Big Deal.. Really"

Not a Big Deal .. My A$$.. there was I think like 139 people, plus crew members on that plane... Sorry, but it was a Big Deal to Us as we were watching & Praying for a Safe Landing....

Glad it all turned out OK... and the news media lost out on reporting a tradgy.....

So glad they're all safe!

Gordon flies Jetblue all the time for business and he said the plane he was in had to do another crash landing a few years ago when he was flying into California. He said it’s the scariest thing in the world. He said the pilot actually went on and told everybody to say their last prayers…he actually didn’t think they would make it.

The pilot appologized for stopping the plane with the front gear 6" off the center line of the runway.

That pilot rocks... saw it live, I cheered him and applauded after that beautiful landing. Granted he had 5 hours to think about it, but man! That was so cool :)

There was a reporter on that flight. In an after-landing interview she said the passengers were watching the news broadcasts on TV screens in the plane.
That would be weird.
