Title: Whatcha listnin too today?
Post by ExplodingEyeBall on Sep 21st, 2005, 1:42pm
I was just sitting here working at the workbench hearing some really old stale jazz station playing on the PA here and suddenly, I thought of a song named 'Show Me The Way'.

Good thing I work at the Library. I went to the A.V. department and checked out 'Frampton Comes Alive'.

My boss has already requested a decrease in volume twice.  [smiley=jammin.gif]

I've been listening to country today. Surprise, eh?
So, Shania Twain, Jo Dee Messina, Sara Evans, Trisha Yearwood, Reba McEntire and LeAnn Rimes have been playing on my walkman.  [smiley=jammin.gif]

Somebody at work gave me a CD full of mp3s from the Bud Light Presents: Real Men of Genious and Real American Heroes radio commercials.

They are performed by the group that sang Eye of the Tiger (can't remember the name).

They are funny!

I'm hearing the Twilight Zone theme once again....

I busted out my vinyl yesterday and the two LP's I played were Jean-Luc Ponty - Aurora, and... all four sides of "Frampton Comes Alive."  Eerie that someone else was in a Frampton mood. Must be the weather. (or the high school thread)  ;;D

Listening to an 70's / 80's disc I made with:

Buggles - Video Killed The Radio Star
The Vapors - Turning Japanese
Styx - Mr Roboto
Susan Sarandon - Toucha Toucha Touch Me (from Rocky Horror)
David Bowie - Ashes to Ashes
Joan Jett - Riding With James Dean
Killing Joke - 80's
Simple Minds - (Don't You) Forget About Me
Split Enz - I Got You
Billy Squier - In The Dark
The Nails - 88 Lines About 44 Women
Modern English - I Melt With You
Dream Academy - Life In A Northern Town
Pete Shelley - Homosapien
ELO - Mr Blue Sky
John Cougar - Pink Houses
Wings - Jet
Thomas Dolby - She Blinded Me With Science

and about 100 other songs. MP3 discs RULE!

I wouldn't dream of doing that, dear, ever.
