I heard the first album a few months ago and was wondering if they were still togeather. Someday I have to try to fund " the lady wore black", can't wait to see if the dumped the pink floyd imitation style.

OMG! Queensryche! I got to see them in concert on the Operation Mindcrime Tour....One of the best damn concerts I have EVER seen.

Thanks for the link. Yeah they talked about it in January, on the "Operation Livecrime" tour. That I got to see right here in Madison. It was the Sunday of Davcon II. My wife bought me tickets! They did the song "Open Your Mind" during the show it was pretty cool. Geoff still has the pipes, but I think the band was much better when Chris DeGarmo was still with them. It was a fucking awesome show. Saw a lot of dudes from the local scene that used to play at the club I bounced. That is one thing we must all do......... SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL METAL SCENE! In 1991 when Queensryche went on tour for the "Empire" album they were playing the entire "Operation: Mindcrime - LIVE" for the first time on tour. We went to see them at the old St Louis Arena and when we got there, our view was entirely blocked by PA speakers. I bitched to security while everyone else was telling me to chill. I said "Fuck that. I paid to SEE the show, not just hear it." Well, we wound up with KILLER seats and it wound up being one of the best shows I have seen, and being a musician since youth, I have seen hundreds of shows. My favorite show though is a tie between Rush on the '94 Counterparts tour and Godsmack in 2001 at Riverport.

Going to see Franz Ferdinand friday at the Pageant. Should be a good show, as the Pageant is a venue that has no bad seats. Every show there I have seen has been great. I just hope I can stand up on the floor and not have to sit behind the rails. What a drag it is getting old.
