Title: Closing on First House........ Post by E-Double on Sep 15th, 2005, 7:09am @ 4pm today!!!!!!!! I never ask for jack CHit here so I am doing so now ;) Fingers crossed ok ;;D We already nearly lost it last week when someone dropped the ball >:( and had to come up with more $$$. That's NY $$ if ya can get the feel. So if all goes well Joanna and I will be the owners of our first house today! Been a rough summer as many of you know and I need this shit to happen. My thoughts are always on others but today they are all on my wife and I :P PF wishes to all! E |

We were set to close mid August and something fell through on the sellers end. We had to wait until Sept. 7th. On Sept. 6th with everyone and everything scheduled set for 3:30 pm we got a call in the eveneing saying that something slipped through the cracks and that certain numbers did not match up thus they were not able to insure the mortgage for us. Slipped throuigh the cracks.......WTF!!!!! Last fucking minute they tell us we would need to come up with another 5% down. That's an additional 22K overnight. Holy Shit. Well we did it and in the long run it will save us money on our payments but the feeling of losing the house after a summer of losing a child was too fucking much!!! Thank G-d and thank you all for helping us survive not just CH but life! I Love ya! Eric |
