I live in Elkhart County, Indiana.....the RV, motorhome, modular home, mobile home, etc. capitol of the world.

We are building units/housing as fast as we can for the Katrina victims. At last count we had orders for 70,000 units. The manufactures here (Gulf Stream, Coachmen, Jayco, Keystone, Forest River, Skyline, Starcraft....to name a few) have the ability to turn out hundreds of units per day....and we, the suppliers, have the ability to keep them with parts. One place we are coming up short is transport drivers.....one transportation company needs at least 500 drivers.

We're doing our best.

I've heard that you can't even buy a pop up camper right now because FEMA has them all spoken for.

Could you post some contact info for people who would be willing to drive? I live in N/W Indiana, have a very roadworthy truck with a trailer hitch, and have already discussed maybe making a couple of weekend trips if the money is good enough to pay for the gas and wear and tear on my truck.

I'm not sure I understand your post, Vig....

The Star Fleet I mentioned is a transportation company.....delivering finished units built by different manufactures.
