Title: DJ's Grandmother Passed Away

I spoke to DJ on the phone today and he told me that his Grandmother passed away on Saturday. He is in Texas for the funeral today, and I sent a planter to LindaLoo and Deej from the CH family. Services were held for Mary Lou Moore, 78 at Winscott Road Funeral Home (www.winscottfuneral.com) this afternoon, Sept 13, 2005.

I read this excerpt at my own grandmothers funeral 2 weeks ago as part of her eulogy. I hope that it might bring some of the same comfort to DJ and Linda that it brought to me. I also hope that Pegg may find some comfort in the words as well:

Scars left by the loss of a loved one are reminders of life and time that we shared. Loved ones can never be replaced just as they will never to be forgotten. They will always live on within us.

Thank you for all of your thoughts, prayers, and posts. Thank you Cat for for sending flowers on behalf of our ch.com family... they were BEAUTIFUL!

I'm back home now and trying to get caught up (BIG TASK)!

Grandma was in A LOT of pain over the last few years but there is no doubt in my mind she is feeling no pain where she is today.

All is well with my family and we all smile and laugh when we remember the good times we all had together.

Again, thank you for your thoughts and prayers!

So sorry for your loss, DJ. I remember this poem from when my Grandmother and sister passed away in the same month...and it brought me solace. Hope it does the same for you...
