Okay, talked to redneck earlier. He was in the humvee with the armed escort delivering meds to various sites around New Orleans (note, he sounds like he thinks this is fun :o) ). He went back to Baton Rouge on Saturday with the intent that he would be home today. Guess what! Now it's supposed to be tomorrow, and that's if they don't need him to go some place else. AND, he doesn't know how long this will go on.

I ain't used to this!

Seems he was pretty pissed about some people even talking about this.

Hope he gets back safe and sound!!...Hes doing a great job.

May God be with him. Be sure to thank him for me, for the work he is doing. Politics be damned right now those people do need help, and I'm glad people like him are doing it. See if he can send some of his boys up to Mississippi. ;)

Well at least he's stepping up to the plate! Yea and boys handle things from a diff perspective than us.

But as long as it's for the good and he stays safe.

Try not to worry, Darlin......that ornery cuss, Redneck, will be fine..... :) He's doing good work and I'm proud to know him.

I know you miss him.....bless your heart. Just think....when he's home buggin' you, you'll be wondering if there isn't something he can do back in N.O..... ;;D

Fucking humvee broke down on the way back, luckly we had two so made it back, I hope the pics and video i took come out. Words and pictures cant explain. The sights, the smell. The people in jefferson parish, the number of emergency response, law enforcement, and already clean up and repair crews. Thanks to all the states that sent help. Now so tired i cant think staight and an early start tomorrow. I am giving up my place to stay so will have to go home tomorrow, or may sleep in the warehouse or excursion. Daylight will tell. Take care all.

Carolyn... Thanks for giving up Jimbo for the time, this thing takes alot for everybody to get through this tough time...I know the work is never done...

We are still planning many more trips to Gulf Port... I hope to maybe go on one of the trips, but I am doing my part here trying to hold up the Home and Logistics of all the information....
