Title: ANNOUNCEMENT #2 Post by Langa on Sep 12th, 2005, 8:45am My boyfriend Gordon asked me to marry him a couple of weeks ago and I damn near tripped over myself to scream YES!!! On Friday he picked me up after work and announced to me that we were going to stop at the jewelry store to look at engagement rings. I was so happy I slobbered him down a bit before we got to the place ::). When we arrived at the store, we looked at some rings, some pics of rings, some bands, platinum, white gold, etc…I was confused :P. After I gave him some ideas, he and the owner spoke alone and he put the order in for it – so though I gave him some ideas, I still don’t know what the final product will look like…I’m so excited! :D When he came back, I gave him another big sloppy kiss!!! ;;D It’s nice to be treated like a queen! We’re getting married within 6 months, don’t have an exact date yet. We’re probably going to be doing the City Hall move and then a private dinner at a restaurant with close friends/family. He’s also put a down payment on a townhouse close to where I live (he lives in NJ) and close to Crystal’s school. We’re crazy about each other, Crystal and he adore each other, he’s a successful man and makes me happy in every way. Everything is great and I’m not even nervous – okay, okay…a little nervous…Vibes? :-/ He’s even witnessed me getting hit…and stayed. I just love that man… [smiley=heart.gif] I’ve asked him to sign up as a member on the board. He’s been reading up for a few weeks now and is honestly impressed with the lot of us – as he should, of course ;). He goes by G (no comments please ::)) or Gordo (no, he’s not fat…LOL). I’ve already told him about some of my family here… Nani Luv – my hermana from the Boogy Down Bronx, Ladybug-my West Coast Sis, Peppermint – La Pepa from New Yawk, Bethany and Co., Helen – Evil Mary Poppins from Britain, Rex – Frenchie, Jonny – the King with the biggest heart in MA., my main man Jimi – this list can go on forever, so I’ll stop here…but I love all of you and consider you all to be my family. I was shadowing heavy 3 weeks ago and was starting to have low level clusters, then he witnessed a kip 6…He handled it well mostly I think because he read up on the board and knew what to expect. He said if that was a 6, he was dreading a 10. :-[ My seeds had gone bad, so he placed an order for both the LSA and Rivea Corymbosa seeds for overnight arrival, then it got stuck in the Post Office (hey Rex..hate that f’ing post office too! >:(). When I got them, I dosed on 12 Corymbosa seeds, had some “ice-pick headaches” and then light shadowing…been PF again for 2 ½ weeks. Something bout them seeds I tell ya… Pepa, girl, you so crazy…I told him about the synchronized swimming and he wanted to see “the look”…so I showed him. He said I needed professional help :-/. Oh well, he wants to see the Fab 4 do our routine next convention. I told him he’s in for a treat…right fellas? 8) Langa |
